Shawmind have big and ambitious goals for 2023 and we want you to be part of the mental health improvement we are creating amongst school children, teachers, families and communities across the UK.

Since our founding in 2016, we have been committed to ensuring that children and young people’s mental health is improved. In 2017, we raised signatures to force a parliamentary debate on children’s mental health that has led to mental health education becoming compulsory in schools.

But since the pandemic, children’s mental health has worsened considerably. A report recently published shows that almost 2 million of England’s 9 million children are missing school regularly. Hospital admissions for eating disorders increased by over 80% during the pandemic, and we are increasingly finding school refusals and massive increases in anxiety levels among children in the schools we serve.

Our children’s mental health is in crisis, and we need your help:

We want to raise £20,000 before the end of 2022 to ensure we can support AT LEAST 3000 school children with their mental health and emotional well-being throughout 2023.

Your donations will help us achieve this goal and change young people’s lives forever. >>
